Sharukh Khan and Preity Zinta made an effort to pull a strong relation between the cricket and bollywood by entering the auctions of Indian Premier League (IPL)

BIPASHA BASU: She said that it was fantastic that Sharukh Khan and Preity Zinta have invested on the team and are now a part of the team. She also said that if money and interest both are present then it is of no wrong in investing on the team. This could make the team as well as the players strong. Also when bollywood enters the league, it means a lot more fun for the cricket lovers during the league matches.

SHEKHAR KAPOOR: He said that suppose he had known about the IPL then he would too have bid for that because according to him it was perfect.

JAVED AKHTAR: When he first heard about the news his reaction was a perfect smile on face with a statement that he was proud of Sharukh and Preity. He was particularly more keen about Sharukh becasue he has done it in his own.

HEMA MALINI: She said that she was happy seeing bollywood extending the influence to other parts of the field which proves that entertainment never belongs to cinema alone.

NASEERUDDIN SHAH: He just said that he could not care less about the issue.

IRRFAN KHAN: According to him this event has proved that there is lots and lots of money in cricket than any other field.

ARSHAD WARSi: He feels the presence of hollywood in India with all those superb actions.

MAHESH BHATT: He exclaimed that as mixing two colors to create the third color was always exciting, the alliance of cricket with movies will provoke the new world of creativity which is bound to happen sooner.

SIMI GAREWAL: She was happy in saying that stars were coming in favor of sports and she feels that cricketers are always at the top financially. She said it would be better if less popular games like chess, foot ball, hockey and tennis were given support. This would make India to be a more powerful country in terms of sports and make it forceful to challange. She was happy in this aspect that Akshay Kumar is a well supporter of wrestling.

Zayed Khan: According to him it was the greatest investment any one could make with a full fledged forward thinking and the amount of Rs.300 crore will be the dream of every one which they would like to make in a short period.

SAMEERA REDDY: She said that it was the fantastic investment done wisely which would fetch great sum in terms of business for both bollywood and cricket.

MADHAVAN: He was finding a great time in finding where cricket would go from here when the country's two greatest passions come together in pertnership for the benifit of both sides.

NANDANA SEN: Though she claims she is poor in business and knows a very little about business she is well aware of the fact that the deal will make cricket appear more on televisions

NEIL MATHUR: He perfectly states that talent is accompanied with talent and the outcome would be only perfect.

AFTAB SHIVDASANI: He stated that this deal was already expected as there has been a sort of link between the two fields and this would definitly take the bollywood and cricket up further.

VASHU BHAGNANI: The deal has provoked a higher business opportunity as both cricket and bollywood have maximum welcome among the people in India and the combination should lead to maximum output.

The fact that bollywood and cricket are going to run on the same track will lead to good expectation among the crowd and will gain a lot of income especially for cricket.
