Born on, October 26, 1970 in Mumbai, Raveena Tandon is not a new comer for movies. Her father Ravi Tandon was a producer and Director. He produced/directed movies like Khuddar, Majboor, Khel Khel Mein. Tandon, Raveena love for career did not exist in her early career. She did her graduation and joined Genesis, an advertising agency run by Prahlad Kakkar. She worked in the production department. Soon this beauty was attracted into Modelling. Tandon, Raveena love for modeling is limited to few Emami cream and Breeze soap advertisement, as she was noticed by popular directors.

Salman Khan was gaining popularity in 1990s after his smash hit Maine Pyar Kiya, where the the female lead, Bhagyashree was a new comer. One of the jury members Pradeep Krishen resigned in protest alleging that awards were predetermined. This blew up a controversy. The media reported that Raveen a Tandon had campaigned for the award and that her maternal uncle Macmohan was a jury member. However, Tandon, Raveena love to get her name removed from this controversy, faced Pradeep Kishen on TV live and asked for the explanation and the proof of her involvement and the influence on the Jury. Pradeep Kishen could not justify the same, and apologized, closing the controversy for ever.

Raveena Tandon, being a nice individual, she cared for children. Tandon, Raveena love for kids, made her adopt two girls Pooja and Chhaya, when she was just 20 year old and was even not marriedat that time. Now, she is married to Anil Thadani. The couple has a baby girl, Rasha and a son, out of this wedlock.
